Things in the 9Lies camp have been stepping up a gear, and we thought it was about time we put you in the frame!
First off, for those of you who are interested, you can catch Stevie Mann, Dave Kernohan and Chris Cardwell from the band live on Northern Irelands U105 FM at 3.30pm GMT tomorrow, Friday 14th September talking to George Jones about music, life on the road and even playing an acoustic number in the studio. Next week will be a busy week for the band as they head East to Lodz Poland to play the Vena Music Festival with other acts including Fun Loving Criminals and Suga Babes, Steve said "Its going to be a blast!, we cant wait, this will be our first music festival this year, and we'll be playing a lot of our new material which is just rockin right now, and it will be great to try it out in such a large arena"

The new 9Lies.Net VIP section and Merch shop are up and running! In the VIP section you will find all or 9Lies music and videos to date which can be downloaded or streamed, there are also recordings of radio interviews, previously unreleased material including from the forthcoming new album 'Halfway From Nowhere' along with a chatroom for fans to communicate, its just about everything for the die hard 9Lies fan, and its only a few quid to join! And Finally in this round up, you can catch 9Lies on BBC Radio Ulster on wednesday 26th September on the evening ATL. The show will be playing a few of their track and grilling Steve and Dave about what they all mean!

Apart from all that, the 9Lies boys will be taking a break from the public arena in October to finish off the 'Halfway From Nowhere' Album. Stevie Mann has said "We have at present 5 songs finished for the album, then theres another 3 which are still in the recording phase but are fully written and then a batch of about 15 ideas which still need developed, after they are all finished and recorded, the task begins of trying to choose the best 12-15 tracks to make the album, but I can tell you now that the vibe is very good, Its our best work to date!"
