As usual everything in the 9Lies camp is upto the 9's,  so once more this is just a quick one to let you know that the first ever 9Lies all digital single release 'Touch the Sky' will be available tomorrow (Monday 21st April). We are totaly excited as it is not only our first official single but our first ever release since signing with Evil Twin Records, and whats more,  its a secret!

There will be no whistles and bells or mad media airplay, because we havent actually told anyone apart from your good selves!  Crazy?? Well its a little cog in a bigger wheel! All will become clear in the months to come, and your apart of it.

So Much has been going on recently that its hard to believe its been 4 months since the   last 9Lies mail!

Since the last mailing the band have played Live in Poland for the first time at the Vena Music Festival with the Suga Babes, Fun Lovin Criminals, and 9Lies.Net was there to catch all the action ! www.9lies.net/venafestivallodz07.html Including pix, a pre tour radio interviews on U105, a post Interview  with the BBC and Live concert audio for your listening pleasure, and its FREE!  returning from Poland Steve said "It was fantastic to see it all before it changed. Although its been around 8 years since the fall of the iron curtain, the country is rapidly changing itself into a modern European country since signing up, and I would fear a lot could be lost in the rush."

The Nice people at http://www.xiie.net/ have decide to place 9Lies on their homepage until Monday 14th Jan, and in return, you can pick yourself up a 9Lies bargain! There are new previously unreleased tracks from Halfway from Nowhere (get them there first!) and old Behind It All tracks available for download from as little as 25 pence.

The band have also just licensed a song (We R1) from the upcoming new album for use in none less than an exercise CD!  And been voted in Kick FM's (USA) top 50 new songs of 2007!  to find out which and where in the top 50 we are,  you need to tune in! 9Lies.Net Band News Update

Dear 9Lies.Net Subscriber,

Things in the 9Lies camp have been stepping up a gear, and we thought it was about time we put you in the frame!

First off,  for those of you who are interested, you can catch Stevie Mann, Dave Kernohan and John Rossi from the band live on Northern Irelands U105 FM at 3.30pm GMT tomorrow, Friday 14th September talking to George Jones about music, life on the road and even playing an acoustic number in the studio.  If your not in Northern Ireland you can catch it Live across the globe online by visiting www.u105.com and clicking on 'listen live'

Next week will be a busy week for the band as they head East to Lodz Poland to play the Vena Music Festival with other acts including Fun Loving Criminals and Suga Babes, Steve said "Its going to be a blast!, we cant wait, this will be our first music festival this year, and we'll be playing a lot of our new material which is just rockin right now, and it will be great to try it out in such a large arena"

In the VIP section you will find all or 9Lies music and videos to date which can be downloaded or streamed,  there are also recordings of radio interviews, previously unreleased material including from the forthcoming new album 'Halfway From Nowhere' along with a chatroom for fans to communicate, its just about everything for the die hard 9Lies fan, and its only a few quid to join! Apart from all that,  the 9Lies boys will be taking a break from the public arena in October to finish off the 'Halfway From Nowhere' Album.  Stevie Mann has said "We have at present 5 songs finished for the album, then theres another 3 which are still in the recording phase but are fully written and then a batch of about 15 ideas which still need developed,  after they are all finished and recorded,  the task begins of trying to choose the best 12-15 tracks to make the album,  but I can tell you now that the vibe is very good,  Its our best work to date!"
